The story
The many-tailed fox lives in the myths of Japan (kitsune), Korea (gumiho) and China (huli jing). The more tails it has — up to nine — the more powerful it becomes, and it can take the form of a beautiful woman.
The song is the confession of such a creature: her love is a sin, her kiss brings death, and whoever believes her stays forever in the realm of shadows.
