The story
In many folk tales the white deer is an enchanted creature — a messenger from another world that appears to chosen people and leads them deep into the forest.
The song tells of such an encounter: a traveller hears a quiet step in the mist, sees a white deer with a cold gaze and follows it. The deer will make his dream come true, but it will lock the road back home.
The video follows the traveller beyond the familiar, to an encounter that changes what he understands about himself and turns him into a new guardian of the forest.
Lyrics
Original Bulgarian lyrics with English translation.
Verse 1
In the mist I heard a quiet step,
it was not the wind, nor a man.
Among the pines there rose, all white,
a deer with such a cold gaze.
It did not flee — it called to me,
it turned back for a moment.
With every step those hooves
erased a destiny.
Chorus
The white deer is the symbol of the moon,
it leads you along the path of fate.
It will make your dream come true,
but it will lock the road back home.
Follow me...
There is no way back...
Verse 2
I found what I was searching for,
among stone, stream and stars.
But when the morning came,
there was no path left in the forest.
I don't remember how I got here,
I don't know what I was before.
The horn was echoing
through the silent woods.
Chorus
The white deer is the symbol of the moon,
it leads you along the path of fate.
It will make your dream come true,
but it will lock the road back home.
Finale
If one day you meet it alone,
do not look into its cold eyes.
For you will follow it — its path,
and you will stay here forever.
